Billionaire Philanthropist Abhishek Verma and Anca Verma to be the Chief Guests at a Mushaira being held in Deoband (Uttar Pradesh) by All India Momin Conference on 11th August 2018.

In this series, Deoband organizing Jashn-E-Azadi All India Mushaira where renowned shayars poets and laurels will come together on a single stage to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Urdu language and tradition.
The event has been organized by Dr. Zubair Ansari, the convener of All India Momin Conference (Youth) to pay homage and in the memory of the Late Shrikant Verma, a renowned poet, writer and MP of Rajya Sabha and General Secretary of Congress Party. Late Shrikant Verma was one of the popular poets in India who composed and wrote many interesting poems and books like Magadh, Jalsaghar, Bhatka Megh, Bitter Sweet Desire and many more novels and poetry collections.
Anca Verma is the former Miss Universe Romania and a renowned Supermodel from Europe. Verma couple is also known as the ‘power couple’ in India who together own US$ 2 billion multinational FMCG giant Olialia World in more than 7 countries with 85 different verticals having interest in tobacco, spirits, FMCG, Aviation, Infrastructure, Hotels, Entertainment etc.
This is not the first time that the Verma Couple is promoting a cultural event. Anca Verma is an International Human Rights activist promoted many cultural and sports events in different cities of India and Europe.
In order to preserve the legacy of Late Shrikant Verma, Abhishek Verma and Anca Verma run ‘Shrikant Verma Charitable Trust’ in India through which they provide basic amenities, education to the poor children and women. The trust was formed in 1987 after the demise of Late Shrikant Verma and this trust has been instrumental in the socio-economic development of the downtrodden in India.
